Duglo & Albemarle, “Mis”: Post-apocalyptic ambience

Ahhhh, just listen to this. Notice if you care, the production behind creating this atmosphere. The crying, rusty, glitchy sounds neatly spread across the audio landscape. Never competing, always completing each other. Nothing overdone, just right. Absolutely gorgeous.

I’m sure I’m not alone in getting post-apocalyptic images in my mind when enjoying this piece. Old, deserted industry, residential areas where nature is about to take over again. I wanna go see “I, Legend” again.

The track is taken from the collab EP “Night Tempo”, who’s out now. And the rest of the tracks are equally well made, so if you like my pick here you should go check out the rest as well.

Each track is an exploration, really. Like this here, “Ravenclaw”:

I can tell you one thing for sure, this is one EP I’ll return to many times this spring. It really is an excellent piece of work. One of my favourite releases so far this year.

Obviously, this track is added to our “Beatradar Selections” playlist, whom I do suggest you follow to enjoy our ever growing collection of excellent electronica of various shape and sizes. But in addition we do welcome Duglo & Albemarle to our “The Ambient Universe” playlist, where only the finest atmospheric ambient works are found:

That list deserves followers. It deserves… You! 😉
