As proven by today’s pick. A raw, dramatic and industrial atmosphere filled with chaos and despair. One of the most cinematic tracks I’ve heard in a long time!
Read onToday’s double feature has a focus on the uplifting and very groovy tracks. Two fine examples of solid grooves and a positive vibe.
We need that on Mondays.
The downtempo genres are quite tricky. It’s so easy to fall for cliches and end up as a pretty unimaginative, generic track.
So the more happy I get when I during my search for new music come across tracks that steer clear of those pitfalls!
Read onHere’s a real cool one. Deep/minimal house, with a solid groove and a layer of really quite experimental synth hits on top, who paints a rather abstract scenario. All without getting too experimental, without it ever distracting the flow of the track.
I don’t hear this kind of production too often.
